Summer of 1977
During the summer of 1977, the family took a road trip across country in Aunt Diane's station wagon. Those that went on the trip were my mom (Wanda), sister (Lisa), Aunt Diane (my mom's sister), and my cousins Tammy, Danny and Laura and Grandma (my mom and aunt's mother). We left Santee, CA in July 1977 and were gone for a little over a month. Tammy was dropped off in Nebraska to stay with her grandparents, and I was dropped off in Rockford, Illinois to stay with my Aunt Linda's family (my dad's sister), and the rest of the crew headed on to Michigan.
This past summer of 2004, while I was visiting my cousin Danny in Nebraska, he gave me the old film tape from the vacation and I had it converted to DVD. Following are some "scene shots" from the film. Hope you enjoy them!
